seen it at tbe Chicago movie festival

Among the 100 or so movies presented and about 10 of them consumed, "Slava" stood out the most for me. There is strength in simplicity and this production is thus nothing but deep and resonant. Look for no crazy plot twists, this movie is somewhat predictable, however expect to be tuned in or rather sucked in by the growing internal drama every second of the journey. Kudos to the cinematographer(s) and the editor(s) which are both also very efficient.

In conclusion, personally, a movie is as good as it's ending... and this flick gets a solid 9 out of 10.
