This may we'll have an interesting story but the terrible ACTING makes it possible to be engaged
True forced enunciation of every word as if it is a separate scentance, the hilarious gesturing, the way every romantic scene looks like it's being ACTED by two awkward siblings

Totally agree-with the exception of a couple of the more minor characters the acting is appalling to the point of distraction. Particularly the superintendent with his excessive gurning into the camera and moustache twirling. I actually am finding it hard to watch for that reason and thinking of giving up after only 2 episodes. Shame as it is a potentially interesting story.
Surprising for a BBC production which are normally good quality-this looks as though it was thrown together pretty hastily.
