Ignorance is not a bliss
This documentary is a very important piece of work. It should be displayed everywhere possible. After all, the only way to change things, is to educate people. Even if you don't believe in climate change, you can not argue against that something weird is going on with Earth's climate. Things are changing too rapidly.
It amazes me to see those who rudely argue against..well everything, without having anything to back their own claims. I am not an American, but if I see my president talking about something important, I listen what he or she has to say.
If your president is talking about climate change and that something should be done, why would you not listen?
One of the scariest facts is that we have known of these problems for a very long time and we have had the knowledge and science to to something to fix it. Solar cells has been around for "ages", but as with all the commercial driven development, those things tend to drag slowly behind. And that is only one example.
Someone mentioned Leonardo being ignorant and not knowing what he is talking about. I think that is part of his point. He did mention that he did not know about the situation before actually getting familiar to the subject. He basically admitted to be "unknowing". He did also mention that his footprint was probably bigger than most of people's.
the thought "I should do something" should be changed to "We should do something".
Earth does not care about our political views,
It does not care what ever we are poor or rich,
It does not care about our beliefs.
It does not care about our skin color.
But if we do not care about the nature, it will kick our asses.
