When the guy told Leonardo he had cancer

Did anyone else find it strange that when the guy told Leo this he didn't immediately say something like I'm so sorry to hear that or something?

maybe it took him off guard.Is pretty hard to react to something like that.I'm not sure the man was overly perplexed by Leos reaction and for the life of me i can't figure out why this documentary isn't a 10 out of 10.

Not really, he was still in his story. Leo would've interrupted it otherwise. But I'm pretty sure they talked about it off-camera. It's got nothing to do with the story anyway

I liked Leo's response or rather lack of, it seemed more genuine. What would have been the point of Leo saying sorry anyway?
