It feels like a show you would see on CW but lower budget. Written by Orson Scott Card but there is nothing political about it, so far.

I enjoyed it too, finished last episode now waiting for next release, I know it's similar to other shows but it's really held my interest

It's okay but there is a lot of wheel spinning and philosophical pondering.
