Love the original, but

Did either one of you ever stop to consider that the people that actually runs Hollywood does not truly care about Black people (or blacks as you express) nor women or even Caucasians for that matter but however since they do care about their bottom lines (which is money of course) they test out ideas via surveys and such and once they get a certain number of responses and suggestions concerning a property then that is where their attentions shift case in point even though Blacks as you stated before do make up a very high percentage of moviegoers that most of those films have never been tailor made for their perspective but yet they do not seem to mind that a James Bond or Jason Bourne type leading man is of a different skin tone as is evident by their continued support of going to the movies.

ps:FYI most women that watch Lifetime or Hallmark channels have expressed that this is the sort of cast they prefer to see and you know guess what if they do a good enough job with this remake then perhaps that might inspire newer viewer to look into that so called classic as you said

What did you think?? Watching now about 15 minutes in and loving Idina (no surprise, because she's beautiful and amazing!) and Nia Long is lovely. I feel like their apt is almost exactly like the original.
