Lifetime where remakes go to get murdered.

Like are you f'n kidding me? Idina and Nia are just as terrible as the friendship of Toni Collette and Drew Barrymore in Miss you already. Just disgusting and terrible. The whole movie was forced and really Idina? Please. I'd be surprised if these ladies had one thing in common. Let alone best friends. Evidently their acting skills must be lacking because I didn't believe they were friends on any level. They looked liked two actresses who showed up on time to collect a paycheck.

Heath Ledger Come Back,
This isn't funny, at all.

What makes this story work is the "friendship"....because of how rushed this version was the friendship never developed and therefore the story didn't work. I never once believed the two had a close friendship that made me want to cry.

Idina does have a lovely singing voice; but her regular talking voice totally grated my nerves - way too whiny and high pitched. I realize she may not be able to help that, but every time she talked I felt like someone was running fingernails down a chalkboard. She should stick to singing and leave the acting to those that can.

I think Nia was okay but she had terrible material to work with.

I realize it was a Lifetime movie and I knew it would never compare to the original; but maybe Lifetime should stick to original stories and not try to remake a Hollywood production; you can't make a believable movie by grabbing just the parts you think that matter....they ALL matter. I think they were just looking for a movie to showcase some songs for Idina.

I only stuck with it for a half hour. You're right. The story was so terribly rushed, it didn't give them time to develop the relationship let alone make it believable for the viewer.

Just watch the original. It's much better.
