Painting

I really like this movie but I think they should have made the painting worth more money. The killer attempted to kill three people based off of $100,000?! And said it was more than he's made in a LIFETIME?! That's not realistic....

I know killing that lady to get the painting was such a waste b/c One hundred thousand dollars isn't what its worth especially these days. They should've made the painting worth a lot more than that. The killer was so desperate he even shot his own girlfriend or was it is wife (doesn't matter we was a prick trying to kill others over this painting that was only worth 100,000 dollars), looked like she will live, seem like he shot her in the abdomen.
Anyway this one was OK, but not my favorite - I do love these Garage Mysteries, but Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies are my favorite; I watch just about every Mystery series they have now on HMM, and now they had the new one w/Jewel, which wasn't too bad and I love Colin Ferguson.

Jasper Cropsey is a real painter. He loves painting the Hudson.
I've seen some of his paintings worth over $200.00. So far, I haven't seen one worth $100,000.00.
It doesn't seem like a lot to kill for but you have to look at it from the failed painter's(his name has slipped my mind at the moment) point of view.
His paintings aren't making any money. He's jealous of Jasper's work being famous and lucrative. Their house is going to be foreclosed on in 3 weeks. That $100,000.00 would solve that problem with enough left over.
The painting was pretty easy to get.
Unfortunately, the woman came in at the wrong time and got her head bashed in.
They had an inventory of all the pieces in the attic. He would've got caught eventually.
Plus, he shot his wife!!
Being that desperate for money can make some people do crazy things, especially if they have the loss of their home hanging over their heads.
By the way, she plays 'Blue', the fairy on 'Once Upon A Time'.
