Having had "ethnic" grandparents complete with broken English (Italian but some of the ways they say things are similar) this show gives me warm feelings. Great cast. It also gives me some Corner Gas vibes (best Canadian sitcom ever).

I'm glad someone realizes that not everyone is interested in Chuck Lorre style sitcoms.Yes, I really cannot believe how so many people can actually find Chuck Lorre's 'comedy' actually good. It revolves around unfunny jokes and forced laughter than natural subtle jokes.
I love re-watching this show, as it has so many great subtle jokes.
shareEpisode 5 was great but it somehow felt really short, like, at the end of it (when Janet's brother was leaving) I thought there was more to it.
Btw, Andrea Bang is so beautiful and god damn what a Bang on name.
Ardrea Bang is one of the most beautiful women on television. Great casting for this show.
