Why did the movie fall apart after the first 20 minutes?

I don't understand why this is an hour long. It had no structure or sense of direction. And the much touted alleged scientific argument turned out to be nothing but "Everything is so complex. Therefore, God Did It." I'm a born-again Christian and I was embarrassed by the shallow argument for God. The Argument from Personal Incredulity fallacy is nothing but an argument from ignorance.

Of course, when one depends upon Kirk Cameron for an endorsement, low expectations reign. Is Ray TRYING to look silly?

There's nothing wrong with reflecting upon the Teleological Argument. But why not taken the time to investigate how Christian philosophers have used that argument? Ray Comfort never bothered to get an education beyond high school. It shows. (Of course, that has never stopped him from claiming that he knows better than all of the world's PhD scientists.)

Ignorance combined with arrogance has never served Ray well. And that explained why Ray's video "The Banana: The Atheist's Nightmare" made him world famous as a science-ignorant fool. Believe it or not, Ray argued that because the banana is "engineered" to fit the hand and mouth and conveniently equipped with a "pull tab" to remove the packaging, he claimed that the banana "proved" the existence of God. He didn't know that the grocery store banana is the product of careful propagation by humans---while the wild banana tastes terrible, is filled with seeds, and completely fails to fit his argument. Ray also ignores the thousands of fruits which fail his "Intelligent Designer" criteria. Yes, folks, that is Ray's idea of an irrefutable argument for God's existence.

And in the years since, Ray has learned nothing. We Christ-followers deserve better. Sadly, many non-Christians assume that Ray's science-ignorance and illogical babbling is representative of Christian thought and arguments for God's existence.

The Bible says "The fools scorns instruction." Ray Comfort is living proof of that scripture.

That line had me laughing for two solid minutes. Thanks!   
