Escape Room 2 Thread

Since there is no message board for part 2, let's talk about it here. I enjoyed it but lacked the suspense of the first. The guy acting in it,
Logan Miller, (Benjamin), wasn't very good this time around. He seemed to be subpar compared to Taylor Russell.

The escape rooms ere pretty good, but I found it hard to believe that they could figure things out that quickly.

The ending was good and bad, I felt like Logan really detracted from every scene he was in.

I look forward to learning more about the organisation, and felt that that aspect was lacking.

The original is more of an ensemble where this is film is about Zoey (Taylor). Benjamin is the guy she saved. She feels close to him. There is someone else in the sequel she cares about and that all factors into the plot. The other players are supposed to be survivors from previous games so it felt believable, as far as movies go, that they could figure things out fast.

I liked this movie. It's a fun mystery that isn't bogged down by heavy drama or politics, a reasonably intelligent popcorn flick. A third film that wrapped things up should hopefully leave this series as one of the better recent trilogies.
