can you solve a Rubik's cube?

just wonderin' .. might be a skill that comes in handy.

I've been able to solve a 3x3x3 for decades and learned how to solve a 4x4x4 a couple of years ago. I've worked on a 5x5x5 a little but haven't had time to really learn how to solve it.

Do you think you'd be able to solve the 3x3x3 without knowing algorithms ?

If you aren't using algorithms then you are basically solving it by chance.

I often can (haven't played in a while, though I have one)..I've cheated by switching the "color markers" ha ha.

You also used to be able to pop them apart into the individual small cubes and put them back together.

Hmmm: work on a Rubik’s cube, or cure cancer? Which one do I wanna do? OH! So hard to decide! Completely fritter my time away, or use my Given gifts for the good of my species?

My best was 65 seconds in the early years it was out. I read about it in Discover Magazine and no stores where I lived (Binghamton NY area) nor Syracuse had them yet, so I drove to NYC. I HAD to have one. LOL.
