Awful

There, I said it. Now the ice is broken. What a horrid little show with a horrid little laughtrack.

Can't agree with you on that - the laugh track is kinda over the top, but I like the show.

When I caught the first episode a few months ago, I initially thought it must be a parody of sitcoms, with bad jokes and an overzealous laugh track. After about five minutes I realized this really is the show. I am used to modern shows like "Arrested Development" that eschew laugh tracks and have humor that is more thsn just silly one-liners. "Disjointed" (as with all the Chuck Lorre work I've seen with the possible exception of the new "Young Sheldon")looks like something out of the prehistoric era . The pot humor is presented without the slightest hint of subtlety. A weed sitcom seemingly made by people who have never smoked it in their lives so they fall back on lazy pothead stereotypes. I have recommended friends at least watch episode #9 (Olivia's Shitballs). Its silliness was so contagious, I actually lsughed out loud on more than one occasion. I'll be interested to see if there is any improvement in the series when it returns soon with Part 2 of season 1. Kathy Bates scores a few laughs here and there but one wonders why she's slumming in a show this bad!

UPDATE: nope. There is ZERO improvement in Part 2 of Season 1 Netflix put up a couple of months ago. For every mild chuckle at something amusing, there are 100 unfunny moments, particularly with those stoner stereotypes Dank and Dabbie. Revolting and unwatchable. Still awaiting word on what Netflix is going to do with it based on their own internal polling.
