Why the high rating? Simmons is very very very bad infront of the camers. He is not made for TV. He's a good writer and needs to stick to that.
shareIt's an uneven production but it's early. I am disappointed as I thought he would be more hard hitting with his opinions. I find it a pretty soft show at this point. That's a pity considering Simmons is a smart sports guy with very strong opinions. Soft shows with softball questions to guests are a dime a dozen. It's not as pillowy soft as Mike and Mike but it's nothing special at this point.
