First World Problems - spoilers

I enjoyed this film but it did sum up the term ''first world problems'.

I can appreciate losing your job is not nice and an unplanned pregnancy can be daunting. But this couple lived a pretty perfect life. Their problems were more minor irritations, then problems.

They were in their mid to late 20's and owned a big family sized house. So I didn't understand what was the problem with their familes staying in their home during the Christmas period? They had plenty of room to house them.

Even when the man was working out his finances, he ticked vacation, gym membership and car lease off the list! If I were to feel sorry for him, he needed to tick food, gas and electricity off the list. His mother could afford to live in New York City and fly first class, so I'm she she would have helped if things got tight for a short time.

Nice film but doesn't tug on the heartstrings.

I was thinking anyone with a law degree would not be out of work for too long.

It’s a Hallmark holiday romance — they don’t want anything too heavy deflating the audience’s spirits.
