The lead female characters is a real b...

Acting is good but they have the female character as completely unlikable. No redeeming qualities. She starts out complaining, accuses guy of stealing parking place, finds out he didn't but instead of apologizing she turns into a total b**ch. She gets no better. Actress does good job but character is a bomb.

The young girl and Brolin are the only salvation for the movie.

Yeah, I thought the little girl was the best actor in the movie.

It isn't unusual for Mena Suvari to play a less than nice character, but I think she does it quite well.

In this case, I think she just had some issues with her dad, like many of us do. I thought her character softened as the movie went on.

To me it seemed like she was a good person, but under a lot of stress. Also she needed all that structure in her life, because there was no one to help her, she had to take care of her little girl all by herself, mourn her mother alone etc.

Wait! Does this also mean putting out doesn't get you love?

Yeah she was totally unlikable thru the whole movie. In fact only the kid was really likable. I didn't like this movie at all it was bad bad bad. I never bought any of the romance either. 3/10
