They really need to rein in Robert King and all his deluded fratboy fantasies before he ruins yet another show.

On The Good Wife, Kalinda's sex life was the least interesting part of her -- yet time and again, the story ground to a complete halt while we were shown Kalinda cavorting in bed with yet another woman -- usually another female law enforcement officer. (Can you say "porn fetish"?) All that added NOTHING to any story.

At least then he had the excuse of trying to keep the drunken football fans' bums in their seats after their game was over. But what's his excuse now?

Look at the poster: It's constructed so that it looks like Diane and Lucca are locked in a steamy embrace. Are they KIDDING us with this?? And in the promo, I think I counted four lesbian clinches, with women shown in bed together and so on. Enough already!

And for those who imagine this is part of some "modern agenda", ask yourselves how likely you think it is that we'll see any gay MEN at all. Not likely. We might have the occasional murder victim, or someone who has been gaybashed -- but do you think we'll ever be shown two GUYS rolling around undressed in bed? No chance in hell.

But of course, if you ask the average deluded clod, he'll be happy to "explain" to you that two women equals "hot" while two guys equals "gross". How hypocritical does it get?? 

I'm going to watch the beginning of the series, because I love Diane, and Marissa Gold. But if the one-track-minded writers try to pair EITHER of them off with other women, I'm OUTTA there!

But, most famously, this is the original tomtrueman from the Brokeback Mountain board who destroyed that board, as he's done here, with his constant self-loathing homophobic rants and hissy-fits.

"Homophobic"? Wow, you sure guessed wrong.

So explain to me why we see steamy lesbian love scenes in half the shows out there, while gay MEN are only seen as murder victims, or people who have been gaybashed? How is that fair? When was the last time you saw a love scene with two naked guys rolling around in bed together, on a regular TV network?

We saw Kalinda in bed with all kinds of different women, every other week. Evidently it got Robert King hot because, like so many straight clods, he hadn't thought it through properly, what that would actually mean to HIS sex life. (Hint: It means those women don't need HIM for anything at all....)

Alicia's brother was gay, too. Did we ever see him undressed in bed with a long string of different men? No, we didn't. We HEARD about his boyfriend, the "married Palestinian porn star" -- but did we ever even SEE him, never mind see them making love? No, we didn't! Funny how that works..... (Can you say "hypocrisy"?)

Do you see my point yet? I'll give this new show a chance -- but if they turn it into another The L Word, like The Good Wife was turning into, just to titillate the straight clods, I'm outta there.

(And speaking of The L Word, its biggest audience was clueless straight men. My lesbian friends all sneered at phoney garbage like that, because it's always so obviously just straight actresses doing what they think straight guys will want to fantasize about.)
