It looks great and I loved the first film. Will be nice if this is a hit for Disney after two flops in a row(Christopher Robin and The Nutcracker).

by your Own WORDS CR broke Even....

You set the break even point at 200 Million.....You cant now move the goal posts once it hits that mark....

CR broke even and will eventually make a small profit from Home media....

Also Worth Noting, Disney doesnt need A HIT......as its currently easily #1 and is going to win the studio earning for the 6th time out of 7 years now....

again to understand just what Kind of Incredible year Disney is having....Let me compare it to WB...

WB is currently having A GREAT Year, A well needed BOUNCE back year(last year WB had 5 Massive Flops that DEVOURED all thier profits from their few hits in Wonder Woman and "It").....but this year WB has produced a string of Small to Modest Hits, Between 8 to 10....

But those 10 hits.....dont even equal HALF the Profit and earnings Disney made from only 3 films in AIW, Black Panther and Incredibles 2...

Disney is currently over 1 Billion dollars ahead of WB and rival studios...

Bottom Line, Disney Is currently having its worst year in almost a decade and is still Dominate Rival Studios like WB by over 1 Billion...

The key here is Disney has Hits that Rival Studios can ONLY dream about....

WB can only dream about making 700 Million + in Profit on 1 film like Disney did with AIW and SW7

WB can only dream of making 400 Million + in Profit on a film like Disney did with Black Panther, Incredibles 2, Age Of Ultron, Iron Man 3, The Avengers, Beauty and The Beast and Frozen

PS.....

good to see you finally stopped your embarrassing "The Grinch is going to destroy Wreck it Ralph2" trolling

for the last 5 months every time you responded to a Wreck It Ralph or Grinch post you always threw out embarrassing Trolling comments saying "The Grinch was going to destroy Disney WIR2"

of course that was when you expected and predicted The Grinch to open to over 135 Million....Make 500 M domestically and Make over 1.2 Billion.....

lol Its nice seeing you now suddenly become extremely quite about The Grinch beating WIR2 now that The Grinch Hilariously came up over 50% Less than you expected....

I guess the days of you saying things like this is over-

You'd be a fool to bet against Universal/Illumination. Personally, I can't believe how popular their stuff is.

Anyways...this is gonna be even more red-hot than usual being a holiday film and having all of November and December to rake in the green stuff (poor Wreck-it Ralph 2 LOL).

OW - $135 million
Domestic Total - $480-530 million
WW - 1.2 billion

Yes...this will probably dethrone Frozen.

But again I guess thats what happen when you Miss by over 65 Million on A films opening weekend....

Its clear you now have no confidence in The Grinch easily beating WIR2 like you claimed for so long....I look forward to your continued silence on the subject!

reply

Oh...The Grinch will most definitely beat WIR2. My opening weekend prediction was wrong, but WIR2's will be lower and it's ultimate gross will be lower as well. It's not just me predicting this...the whole industry is.

You have to remember, bill, that WIR1 only made 185 million domestically and it's not like it's become a cult phenomenon since then which once again highlights Disney's out of control spending.

Production budget( before P&A):

The Grinch-75 million

WIR2-200 million

Lolololololololololololol indeed!
