Why is the nudity censored? I mean, we've got people getting dismembered, eyes ripped out, torture abound, but they can't show nipples? I just don't understand. It's very distracting. Does anyone have an explanation for why the nudity is animated like that?
shareI'm just speculating but it could have something to do with Japan censorship laws, maybe they're broadcasting this on live tv which prohibits the view of nipples, so they're saving the uncensored for dvd as in most cases? I would like to know this as well.
shareyeah i think its so that they could have nudity on screen without censorship problems. And there is a lot of nudity in the manga.
