I really liked it

It didn't feel like the thousands of other office based comedies.
Nails office politics and isn't all pandering about a difficult subject matter for cheap emotional kicks I.e Derek.

Yeah. Worth a watch.

reply

Yeah, I liked it, too... Funny, and moderately realistic also, one suspects! 

It felt very similar to The Job Lot. It seemed like there was a comparable character on that show to this one for everybody.

I will praise its somewhat believable nature though. It seemed like if you ever worked in an office you know every one of these people.

It wasn't funny enough in my mind. I may watch a few more episodes, but it didn't impress me.

I agree. Will keep watching though in the hope it improves.

Second episode definitely better than the first, but it also got way too similar to The Office. For the pilot it reminded me of The Job Lot, as I pointed out in my previous post, but tonight from the trick to get him to clean the kitchen, to the repetitive meeting it seems like they're going to mimic Ricky Gervais' show more and more in coming weeks.

reply

Yeah the second episode was an improvement I agree.

reply

Getting better.
I'm sticking with it.
For Jo Brand.

Oh and Georgie Glen, obviously!

Ricky Grover too!
It gets better & better!

I agree its not out and out comedy its satire for the main part, and pretty good. People shouldn't treat it like its just written for laughs per minute.
