Thanks to Netflix for introducing this American girl to some good ones! First it was with Happy Valley, then The Fall and now going to give this show a shot! They have been so well written and well acted thus far. I want to move to the UK now. Lol

Broadchurch was fantastic...one of the few shows where I've actually gotten attached to the characters and feel for what they're going thru. The other shows mentioned are great too. One of my faves, also on Netflix, is Midsomer Murders...at least the first 14 seasons with John Nettles as the lead :)

shareI love that so many of them are female driven, like Vera or Scott & Bailey. They're British so they can't have guns, they use their brains and don't go storming after guys 3x their size and beat them into submission lol
