Little more than half way through 1st ep...ugh

Nina...what a crazed B.
She has no place being a detective.
Whining and moaning about her boyfriend. More worried about their relationship than the case. Every other scene involves her desperation. She even brings it into the workplace...but DC...the young girl makes the slightest eye contact with one of the guys and she goes off on her.

And her point of view is IT! No one else's opinion counts.

She couldn't manage a self serve laundromat.

I truly believe Indira got this show built around her. She must've talked her way into this being a show where she was the center of attraction. And I'll bet the subplot of her and the boyfriend was all her doing...hence the lousy script (that part)

The show is unwatchable due to her acting inability.
The remainder of the crew are quite nice.

The dead body played her part better that Indira did hers

Hey Driver,

My wife and I did not last as long as you. Before someone slams me for not giving it a fair chance, allow me to point out when one is in their 70s, they do not have a lot of time to waste waiting for a show to get "good." "Foyle's War" episodes are not known for their exciting chase scenes, but they certainly are great shows with great stories and great acting.

Best wishes,
Dave Wile

Sometimes when I shop on Amazon I find out that people have posted a number of five star reviews who clearly were not customers of the product. That's how I feel having watched five episodes of the series so far. Every single one of the characters in the show is flawed to such an unrealistic extent that it borders on ludicrous. I cannot believe that all of these people who are writing about the show can watch other Netflix series and not see how poorly this one was put together. I am a huge fan of Netflix, and I have watched so many great dramas on the Network, but this is the first one to truly disappoint me.

As someone who works with law-enforcement, no group of people in the history of law-enforcement has ever been as neurotic as this group of people. The idea that one detective would run from the assault of another is just not realistic. Especially when in one of the early episodes they commented on how this type of crime never happens in their department. If you want to talk high stress, set it in a larger jurisdiction where you could understand how detective might be so shaken that he can't confront one more horrible murder. Not worth watching the predictable ending, and that is something I never say.
