Almost Zero Equestrian Coverage
This sport probably costs more than any other as the horses are very expensive and both the horse and rider need to be in top form. Once is was completely preempted by golf. Other times they'd just show 3-5 riders out of a field of many countries who send as many as 4 representatives each. I know it's not as popular as watching Michael Phelps but I'd rather see the actual competitions (in all venues) and less chit chat about Rio, the food and drinks of Brazil, and back stories about (mostly) American athletes. Dare I say it's become too commercialized for a non-professional sports showcase. Ah well, will try the live streaming for the final tomorrow morning but overall I'm dissatisfied with the coverage both on TV and the NBC website.
Be well and be kind
