So the premise of the Nurse was....WTF?!

SPOILER:

Her son dies of an apparent overdose, so she decides to make her life's work - to nurse back to health evil, scumbag, criminals that real healthcare workers won't touch.
That's total BS and the movie should never have gotten off of the ground with that premise.

Other than that, it was a good movie.

Whether you're a criminal or not, healthcare workers can't just decide to not treat you.

reply

Ya but she purposely sought out to treat only rich evil criminals, and made sure she would never treat deserving, innocent, poor victims.

reply

That's because letting normal people in would compromise her business which is what it is. I'm sure she makes a lot more in her line of work than most other doctors and regular hospitals.

reply

Except she couldn't help the poor, innocent people because she had her license revoked for alcoholism.

Jeff Goldblum was the only one willing to finance her endeavor in the underground network, granted she treat criminals.

It wasn't so far fetched that a traumatized, agoraphobic nurse who never got over the death of her child reduced to treating criminals as a way to stay out of the system and hold on to a very small piece of existence.
