Biggest mass hanging scene I've ever seen

So they drag them all out to a stadium to three huge gallows accomodating 15 prisoners each, bind them, muzzle them and prepare them all to be executed...

...but it turns out to be just a warning, and then they're released.

I later found out that these are among the last of humanity's fertile women, and just because they resist the dictatorship, their lives are threatened like this? Sorry, but the dictatorship doesn't have a leg to stand on and the women can resist easily if they want to.

BTW, I've not started to watch this show yet, but this scene has intrigued me to see more, so no spoilers, please.

You need to start at the start and watch the two seasons from the beginning, in order.

Then you will get the impact of the Gilead regime and why it's not as easy as you think for resistance and overthrowing. It's harrowing watching and what makes it a great show.

I also think it's unrealistic how all the women just fell in line, even in things like no longer being allowed to read and write, but the first season was still really good.

And the other commenter is right - you need to watch things in order to make sense of them.
