I know you can't get chicken pox within a day of getting exposed. It takes around two weeks after one is exposed...thus
Diedre couldn't have gotten them from kid on the plane like she said.

Kind of like how two women who are not the same height or weight can miraculously fit into each other's clothes? HA! ;-)
