Luckily, there were some even worse horror films released this year but The Nun is down there.

This film was so repetitive and unscary and LOUD - I felt embarrassed for the actors (if you want to see an actor giving a scene about 60%, watch Demián Bichir's acting in the casket).

The Nun is actually a step down from Annabelle: Creation and a LEAP down from The Conjuring 2, which it directly spins off from.

I defy anyone to watch Hereditary and The Nun, back-to-back, and then tell me what the budgets were for each film.

Is it worse than the first Annabelle?
Because i can´t believe it is.

I agree it's worse then the first Annabelle. Call me an idiot but I didn't think the first Annabelle was that horrible i gave it 6/10. The Nun 5/10 on the positive side this was a masterpiece compared to Slenderman.

I hear it became repetitive in the (jump?) scares and the showing of the Nun that is more or less killed the scare factor of the Nun itself.

I do feel it is the weakest in the series, but I don't think it is terrible. It was alright.

I enjoyed it for what it is and admit that it was pretty damn bad..
