First of all, SERIOUSLY, I thought it would be longer.
This is like some new kids making a RE game. They missed everything we know as Resident Evil.
Graphics/Texture wise, HELL NO this is not 2017 worthy at all. I mean 2007, OK. Not 2016/2017.
Oh man I am lost for words. The hype for this game was so much that, well... nothing new. Never bought hype.

Oh come off that fanboy crap. It has everything we know as "Resident Evil". It's not just bloody zombies and camera angles.
Some are disappointed there aren't any (except for a short cameo at the end) of the known characters. A fair complaint but not one that should ruin the whole experience. If people were so damn close minded back in the 1990s, the series never would've taken off after RE 2 since that had new characters. Of course when you have a long running franchise and there are people who have grown up loving certain characters they want to see them return. I wish there had been more involvement of some key players, but there's going to be an RE 8 so maybe they can make a return in that. As for 7, it's a great game, and much more 'Resident Evil' than some are giving it credit for, no doubt about that. Ethan and Mia Winters are new characters to the series but I liked both a lot and want to see them return at some point as well.
shareAfter watching 3 full playthroughs, I COMPLETELY disagree with your *beep* opinion. This game was glorious if not just a tad bit short. The only criticism besides that I have for it is some of Ethan's reactions, and the lack of a variety in monsters.
I know my opinion won't change yours, however, I want people who come and read this, to know there are many who loved it.

I actually feel that's more of a positive in 7's case, just because of its simplicity. With the other REs, 5 and 6 especially, they suffered too much from excess (among other things).
