No trolls, please. Thinking and reasoning, without name calling. On Race

Hi, I see that the current IMDB average of 6 is divided between 42% of the people who gave it 10 stars and 33% who only gave it a 1 star. I'm assuming that none of the 1 star people have actually seen it, and are only venting this curious rage we have in our society. I'm also betting that they are all white.

On the other hand, should a documentary just get a 10 because of it's topic? I'm thinking there might be a bit of that.

I'm going to go see it tonight.

I'm a white guy, and I see prejudice against blacks all the time, although thank God it is dying out. A few more generations left, maybe.

The accusations of "racist" by the left are extremely unhelpful, as everybody all the time gets called racist, when they have no malice and only some ethnocentrism, if that. But on the other hand, to say there is no racism in our society is absurd.

Step number one: What actually is racism? And who gets to define it?

Step number two: Where did it come from?

Step number three: Based on where it came from, does that then suggest a possible way to reverse the process?
