she isnt a bad person, just oversold herself.
shareI read the book "Bad Blood" and I think she oversold the whole thing. She may have started out with good intentions, but somewhere along the way she went off the rails. I don't know what it is, but she refused to accept truth that she was just plain wrong and her idea would never work.

shareGood point. I imagine all the investor money may have encouraged her to believe that what she hoped to accomplish was actually possible. I also get the feeling that she didn't know what she didn't know. She was in over her head, but was determined to prove that naysayers were wrong. I couldn't believe all the times she cheated during demonstrations to investors or potential users of their "technology." Oh, the whole thing was just such a mess and a lot of folks really wanted it to be true - just a few drops of blood would be enough to get answers.
