Disappointing [Spoilers]

The original was a very good film, with some powerful moments. This felt... pointless? The 14,000-year-old man who hasn't aged a day since he was 35ish has suddenly began to age. Why? Don't know, never really addressed, just kind of dropped. He's hiding in a cave, his friend who hasn't seen him in years shows up, sees that he's aged, yet still believes his story of being 14,000? The students glommed onto his identity in a forced way. The Christian kid's total breakdown and subsequent kidnapping and stabbing of our guy? Really I felt really let down by this sequel. I liked Isabel, but that's about it.
