because there ws such a huge demand for this

Nobody asked you to watch it.

In my opinion, anything that puts more Alison Brie on-screen in whatever capacity is always welcome and I bet the majority share this opinion so you can keep questioning the need of this show and what not, I'm just glad to see more of her and if it ends up becoming another successful netlix original, all the more better ; )

reply

Yup, well said. Alison Brie's acting is on par with her looks...goddang she's gorgeous. Those eyes, you know?

u mad?

I don't remember the demand for Breaking Bad, either, but that turned it ok.

🤮

I only watched it cause of Allison Brie. I think she's a great actress. Though I wish she'd do a horror movie.

What a strange thing to say. Is there ever a demand for a television series? Can you think of any series that was ever put out due to a demand for it?
Kind of looks like you came to the discussion boards of a show that you're not interested in, just to announce your disinterest. You think there's much of a demand for that?
Almost like someone phoning up a classified ad for a used car or whatever, just to let the person know that nah, you've seen better cars, no thanks.

The word is “uninterest.” I, however, support your position that the OP is a tool.

Your stance is much stronger if you use the right words.

reply

Lol nope...I got it right, you should do more schooling before you correct others

reply

You are ignorant. Even in the movie “Bugsy,” Bugsy Siegel corrects his peer, after we have established that he is a stickler for correct English: “‘Disinterest’ means ‘not interested.’ If you’re not interested, then you’re not interested.”

I’ve a LitD. Also publishered 4 books and numerous national magazine cover stories.

You?

Not for nothing, but, “do more schooling?!” Really? Does the word “diction” mean a thing to you?

That’s a rhetorical question.

reply

Does the word "context" mean anything to you? Because different words are used in different scenarios, and in the sentence you attempted to correct me on, the correct word is disinterest. "You came here to announce your uninterest"...that sounds right to you? Cmooon....

Diction or context, schooling is still the right word as well, but truth be told I generally don't make pains to try and sound like I know how to grammar correctly anyway, I enjoy writing fluidly and with a touch of humor that sometimes plays with the words themselves. But I also don't try to correct others...whether it be their grammar or whatever else, just because its difficult not to sound condescending but also because I can't always be 100% confident that I know what I think I know, and honestly, there's not much more humbling than being corrected on a correction.

That's awesome you've been published numerous times...myself only twice, but then you have to know that there are often editors involved in the process that'll correct your stuff, so...you don't always have to be a grammatical genius in that realm, you know?

Why the hell did you answer this ten months later? Lol wtf...get back to writing your shit, the readers are waiting!

There is always a demand for Betty Gilpin and her body.

I invite any and all readers in the future to compare my usage with yours.
