"Welcome to the future"... da fuq?

[spoiler]At the end of the series the apocalypse girl says this before knocking him out. Seems like an odd thing to say. A) She didn't even know where he was from, he just asked for the date, and B) Nobody says "welcome to the future" when it's your own present. That is beyond dumb. [/spoiler]

This kind of slopping script writing ruined it for me.
