Way way too artsy

All those long, long shots of faces or scenes with no talking or action, and what action there is always seems to be in slow motion (except when he is killing someone with a hammer). And minimal dialogue to explain what the hell is going on or what the characters are thinking. And totally unbelievable actions taken by characters as if they were acting in a vacuum (he did kill a real cop, didn't he?).
