Two reasons critics pushed this terrible movie

One. Critics seem to love Joe Phoenix for whatever reason (the master, her, and now this), and I don't get the appeal at all. Here, my dislike extends beyond Phoenix as I just thought the movie as a whole was bad. there wasn't enough dialogue to explain what was happening in the scenes, and much of the dialogue present was just unintelligible mumbling by Phoenix.

Two. The film was written and directed by a woman and no way are they going to pile on a female director in the era of #metoo.
