I thought that the acting was decent and represented the array of how students act. I love that the lead blonde was not skinny! It's about time to show beautiful full-sized women can be in lead roles and not just supporting roles.
If anything, I would say that the writing needed work but overall it was okay.
Yep, the writing is what suffered the most, but the acting was pretty solid overall, probably what saved the whole thing. And yes, their inspired choice of high-status female character body type didn't go unnoticed either. :) I mean if it was a choice made consciously, I hope we're not reading too much into it here.

Unfortunately the plot kind of sucked. It is very unrealistic that a bunch of high school kids could break into the US Mint, steal passwords and identities to visit multiple times, hack into the network and take over everything remotely, make a customized batch of coins, and then steal all of them without anyone noticing.
Yeah, it took a lot of movie magic to make all of that happen.
