Saying large numbers don't make things interesting

This film was pretty terrible.
The actors are below their usual game here, the story has nothing going for it and with the current state Korean politics is in, it's dull.
What could've been a tense mind game becomes a wasted opportunity as it offers nothing new.
Sure, they keep talking about how high the stakes are with large sums of money being mentioned continuously, but seriously, who cares?

It's also too long, as is the tradition in Korean big budget blockbusters these days, it just had to have 140 plus minutes of running time.
The action is mostly done through dialogue after dialogue and it's simply boring.
This guy phones that guy, this guy listens to that guy talking, this guy tries to backstab someone with new information, repeat, repeat, repeat... Yawn.

I expected more fun from the cast and its premise but at the end of the day, browsing through a few newspaper articles about Korea's current scandal is way more jam-packed with entertainment than this colorless cashcow.
Oh and, the real life events have even more amount of money involved than what's presented here.
To filmmakers: You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger.
