An odd movie for Lifetime

Even though it did feature a woman in peril like their other movies, it is the same story they tell about twice a day but with the sexes reversed. Yet we're still supposed to side with the female. When it's girl meets perfect guy, then he becomes obsessive, texts her hundreds of times a day, calls, sits outside her house, shows up at her work yelling at her about cheating on him with co-workers, shows up at her house on a weekly basis starting fights for no reason then calling the cops saying she assaulted him, then at the end she kills him and saves herself from this monster, we are supposed to cheer. Yet here the girl does all those things to the guy and when he kills her we hope he fries. Seems like a mixed message from the network.
