That god awful hat!

OMG if she wanted to look like a hick in the middle of Manhattan then she was doing it wearing that stupid looking hat. Plus I don't even know how it stayed on her head the way it was push so far back.
The one thing I will at least state is the casting was better in this movie than in some of the previous ones. It was also definitely a fairy tale because in what real world would a girl meet a fab guy that like within her first couple of days in NYC.

That hat was a total distraction! Whoever did the show's wardrobe must have grown up being a big fan of Lizzie McGuire back in the day.

Just watching now and came to say the same thing, it was really awful and I couldn't take her seriously. Totally Lizzie McGuire. Her whole look was early 2000s.

Also, New Yorkers will take the free cookie, gluten free or not, trust me.

What I loved about her so much was her unique style.....including the hat! She dared to be different....and it worked! That was sort of the whole concept of the movie, right? Compared to the Mindy and Courtney clones, she was a breath of fresh air!

I agree! The hat was a little corny, but overall I loved her style. Very cutting edge for a hallmance.

I was distracted by that stupid hat too! I was considering deleting the movie without finishing it because the hat was so annoying. And I also didn't like the co-workers wanting her help "putting together outfits" for them. Nothing she wore was creative. Just a typical dress you could find on any rack at Ross.
