He was awesome in this movie. That is, when he was actually given screentime.

I actually liked the way he acted.

He acted like an arsehole. Therefore perfectly cast.

I'm not sure his career deserves to be over, but wow, he was really nothing like John McEnroe. Not quite as bad as John Cusack playing Richard Nixon in The Butler, but close.
