F*ck you! No, F*ck you!: The Movie

Seriously almost every scene is filled with nothing but unlikable, constantly agitated people bickering and communicating very poorly, making it very unbelievable that these people would have anything to do with each other. I'm about 50 minutes in and I had to take a break. I'm sure that was the point but it's a bit much & lacks the substance around it to make it worth sitting through scene after scene. I get Adam Sander's character having this manic, agitated energy & being constantly on edge but almost every character is like this to some degree. Too much.

My Problems exactly

That's part of this movie's charm. It's interesting.

Goodness, yes, agreed. We only made it about 40 minutes in and just turned it off. It wasn't enjoyeable at all, everything from dialogue to cinematography, to characters was just absolutely awful! I do not understand the hype around this movie.

reply

It gets really good in the last half hour.

I'll have to take your word for it, as I could not ever stomach another viewing. I am actually a big Adam Sandler fan, and I love it when he does drama! Punch Drunk Love and Spanglish are just really great movies, so I was really disappointed in this one.

This was my experience also. I was in over an hour, and I couldn't take anymore. And I like Adam Sandler.
