Sure the character is older than she was in the first game... But so is the actress who played her. Why did they decide to replace Chloe Grace Moretz with a barely heard of actress?
Because they needed an older sounding voice? Because Chloe would be too expensive to hire again?
Because they want more diversity ie less white people. They have blackwashed Emily Kaldwin.
shareI'm not happy that they recast The Outsider with the guy who plays The Penguin in Gotham. He's great as Penguin, but the original Outsider was awesome. Having any new voice in that role will be an unwelcome break in immersion.

Probably because they needed a professional and experienced voice actor, and likely because they wanted someone with a deeper, more womany voice.
