Jules

Boy, do I feel clueless! The first episode I saw, which was "The Money Shot", I completely missed that Jules is blind. I didn't get that until "The Devil's Playground". Maybe I shouldn't be watching mystery shows, because, clearly, I don't pick up on things.

they played with it in the Pilot too...

also I think that it is a testament to the show that they keep her condition subtle enough that it doesn't define her...

She's not the 'Blind Daughter'... she's the daughter, who happens to be Blind...

Yup.

Also, in the speed dating episode, Matt specifies that Jules is legally blind, rather than just blind, which suggests to me that she might be able to see a little bit -- maybe just enough to freely walk around familiar places without bumping into things.

I went to elementary school with a kid like that actually

running around out doors, doing 'kid stuff' at human speeds he could function, even reading (with coke bottle glasses, large Font and paper to his nose)

but he was never able to get a drivers' license and was legally declared disabled because even with accommodations he was 'handicapped' and unable to do 'normal' things
