If you liked Castle...

I did like Castle a lot, This series I like quite a bit also. I did find a couple of things to be unrealistic such as they have approached men with guns being unarmed themselves more than once and that is something not only stupid but as I said unrealistic. I would hope with just 10 episodes it gets a little more detailed. I like how he really seems interested in her romantically but she likes to keep him at arms length.

I think they are smarter enough not to go down the sleeping with partners route because I still feel good looking partners not sleeping together makes a better show.

As far as Castle is concerned it's odd she has a dad whom has passed recently and I say this because Beckett and a disceist mom. it's bound to come up that he died under suspicious circumstances.

This is more like what I hoped Castle was going to turn into when they said the actress playing Becket was leaving. More P.I. stuff and less murder of the week procedural formula. I typically don't care for murder mysteries. I mean, week after week of solving a murder is kind of morbid. Especially as the characters stop being shocked by death. Castle I tolerated as I like much of what Nathan Fillion has been in and loved his charisma in this role. Psych I completely loved to pieces because of the way Gus & Shawn approached and solved things being fresh and humorous. Granted, this show has a touch of murder but it's 90% not that at all but more diversity in cases like Magnum P.I. or in more recent times Veronica Mars.

I won't go out and say this is the best show ever. But it is a really good PI show and well worth watching if you love the genre ... and especially if you are sick of procedural.

So based off your post, I watched a couple of episodes. It's an okay show but it's no Castle. Nathan Fillion can act circles around Jason Priestly. But if I find myself with absolutely nothing else to do I might watch again.
