0-100 km/h with NSX

Im sorry but I was getting hot under my tweed collar.

So what the NSX did the 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds or thereabouts and that was not good enough??? Come on Mr. May.

I mean do people who own these super/hypercars constantly take drag races and push the car to the limit. Cant be about bragging to your mate about it. 3.2 is like faster than 99,5% of all the cars made today. In my books that is fast. Everything under 5 seconds is fast.

I owned a Subaru Impreza Turbo. It had like 300bhp. I liked it, but im a normal person behind the wheel. I didnt feel the need to accelerate from 0-100 km/h everytime I drove it. My point probably is that in layman terms nobody really cares about the 0-100 km/h time.

3.2 is fast but the competition to the nsx are faster plain and simple.

10 times cheaper - so not really in its competition ..

It's potentially useful for people who do track days; the faster you accelerate, the faster you can reach speed on a straight, so the longer you have at your best speed, so the lower your lap time.

It could also be a matter of professional pride between the manufacturers - the faster your car accelerates, the better you can be seen to be at balancing weight, power, torque etc. for performance. Hence Honda not wanting to share the numbers.

Good luck, Captain. I think you're about to go where everyone has gone before

For people with really really really small penises, a tenth of a second is a big deal.

Nissan gtr, 911 gt3, r8 v10...

But those cars are effectively dinosaurs compared to the NSX. Honestly, the NSX is beautiful. In and out.

Calling Nissan GTR is kinda dumb. Secondly the NSX is $190,000 , thats 90 more than the GTR, so basically nsx is the dinosaur with its 3.2 sec 0-60 mph compare to GTRs 2.8 sec. FACT.

That isn't actually what the NSX is about... it's fast but not really fast for the money, you can buy equally fast cars for less. It's about the technique that's behind it, looking at that it's unrivaled. It actually uses similar tech as the Porsche 918 but is a hell of a lot cheaper. The NSX is unique, not the fastest or the most exiting, but looking at the mechanics and the price point it's out of this world... but that's hard to see when you're only about figures and not about the tech behind it. Honda will surely show what the NSX could do when it has been tuned and so on... wait for the R version!
