Sketch comedy show. Not a motoring show.

I see that it's been said a ton but I'll add to it in hopes the voices are heard.

The show is too much of an obviously scripted and directed sketch comedy series. It really needs to lean toward car reviews, info, history, tests, and episodes that have something relevant to do with automobiles (like seeing how some would perform in unique situations).

Really did not enjoy the one I just saw with the training course.

So was Top Gear, especially later on.

Meanwhile the latest episode featured a review that was basically straight out of Top Gear. Complete with lens filters and all. I love when people come to a message board and make complete and utter jackasses of themselves like the OP has done.

This weekend's episode was all car reviews and test drives. The Lexus F sedan, then the Bentley SUV, then the luxury SUV challenge with the Bentley, Porsche and Range Rover at the rock quarry.

And in my opinion, it was a boring episode. I prefer the outrageous stunts, crazy builds and automobile carnage. I have zero interest in luxury vehicles and exotic sports cars, unless they are going to use them as target practice.

Fortunately they spread themselves pretty evenly. It's probably why they have such a huge audience.

Episode 12 this weekend actually redeemed the show a bit IMHO, felt more like good ol' Top Gear. Celeb Brain Crash is silly nonsense, but at least it only takes a couple minutes. And ok so most viewers can't afford those luxury SUVs, just like all the supercars featured in TG, so it's a bit of a fantasy piece. Let Cap'n Slow take a £212,000 Bently on a rally track and get it all muddy and scratched up, Amazon pays for it. Also, Jezza's cheeky reference to Braveheart was a hoot. Still wish they'd make more use of their location. Mentioning Scotland's gorgeous driving roads and then showing just one still picture is pretty lame. The car challenge drive from Wank to Kissing to Petting to F'king etc. was worth a few giggles even if a tad childish (and yes those towns do exist - I checked https://goo.gl/maps/dX1oNCqZGg62). Also the launch control skit was almost Pythonesque-funny (MEM-MEM-MEM-MEM!!!...) =).
