Love the show! but it won't last.. here's why

Simple, they're in a TENT, on the move... how long can they keep this up for?

Why not get a home base like they did in TG? they already have a hanger at the eboladrome track.

Amazon should pimp it up, and they can film there every week like they did with TG.

But then again the name the grand tour.... would be difficult to market if they're based at at a hanger every episode though.

They really need to think what there gameplan is after series 3.

Is there anything else at the former airfield?

It belongs to the Science Museum Group which houses the museum’s large-object store and library.

There is also a large solar farm on 67 hectares of the airfield where 150,000 solar panels are installed.

Thoughts? don't get me wrong, love the show love the boys... but this new tatic, is and it will take it's toll on the three.

How many episodes per season? That's how many times out of a year they fly out to wherever for a day or two to present the show. Yeah, that'l do them in.

If I am going to be honest, what are talking about really has no bearing on if the show will last or not.

What has more bearing on the show having a 4th series is whether all parties agreed for more , and right now, I am not sure there is going to be a 4th series, reason being, James May has been openly talking about retiring soon, soon as in once the 3rd series wraps up. Both him and Clarkson are pushing 60, I can see Clarkson wanting to go on for a few more series, he seems to be having with the new show.

So that is why the show may not last more than three series.

I agree with your rant. I hated the first season and I became skeptical! But I was surprised with the second one. They are using the same formula as "Top Gear" which is great. I love it now :)

You were right.

But the new show (specials where they go on adventures) is what the show should have been from the very start.

I have no real interest in cars. I watch because three friends arsing about in some far-flung corner of the globe is fun.

agreed. this is one of the funniest episodes they've produced. it's just an utterly pointless meandering comedy.
