Notice how the main black girl HAS to have BLUE eyes.

Just saw the trailer.
By using a black actress with blue(or green...couldnt tell) eyes they are showing "power"

As if to SHOCK and AWE white audiences who were too stupid to know that there were AAs with blue or green eyes. Its so stupid and actually insulting to other AAs who predominately do not have blue/green eyes.

The sends a message to the black community:Only AAs with blue/green colored eyes are worth listening to. This pushes more self hatred in the AA community.

Whats your take on it?

I think you're over thinking things but that's just my opinion.

I noticed that too. Did they not want a lead who was too ethnic?

Except it's because the main character, Sam, is of mixed race and one of her biggest story arcs in the film, which I've no doubt will be a part of the series, too, is her struggle to find herself and where she fits in on the theoretical food chain of both black and white culture.

If you actually saw the movie the series was based on, you would have known that crucial little detail. But then again, this kind of intellect should be expected from someone who thought "Chappie" was better sci-fi than "Under the Skin".

There's a difference between a differing opinion and a forced one.

I've never seen any. Not that it matters though just saying i've never seen it.
