I wanted to like this, but . . .

Of all the recent horror anthologies (and there have plenty in recent years), Monsterland seemed the most promising. The trailer misleadingly suggests a anthology focusing on horror (aside from talking gray matter) - something missing from the countless horror anthologies relying on humor.

So, I was quite disappointed while watching a mess of shorts that offered bad humor, poorly thought-out premises, and very little horror.

By far the weakest of the recent horror anthologies.
