Nice looking train!
The trains here in America aren't nearly as nice. Amtrack, if you're listening, take notes.

shareThe trains in Germany are way nicer, at least the ICE lol.
shareThere are rich people who lobby govt to prevent the spread of more public transit as it harms their profits from gas and cars etc.
shareOr the US ain't as densely populated as South Korea, Germany etc?
shareWhilst it is more a challenge due to the sprawling nature of the US and it's distribution built with the car in mind depending on the time period, i.e. suburbs etc, it is ultimately down to politics and not wanting to spend money on the "poor". Take a look at Canada, similar geographically in some regards but not so hostile towards investing in public transport infrastructure. The US sees money going to public transport as welfare.
shareIf there's a market...?
